ABOUT
CLAUDE
Kremás is more than a drink—it's an homage to the Haitian matriarchy and a tribute to the resilience, love, and legacy passed down through generations. Our recipe is rooted in tradition, lovingly preserved and perfected by the women of my family, whose strength and spirit continue to guide this journey.
I immigrated to the United States at the age of three, accompanied by my mother—a Haitian nurse—and my great aunt, who worked in a factory. We arrived with little more than hope and determination. I spoke only French, but quickly adapted to a new life and language. Despite the challenges, our home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the unforgettable aroma of my great aunt’s cooking. Her recipes were cherished throughout our Haitian community and became the foundation of my cultural pride.
In light of the ongoing turmoil in Haiti and the economic hardship faced by many across the Caribbean, I felt a deep calling to preserve and celebrate our heritage—especially our culinary traditions. It was only fitting that our flagship product be Kremás, a beloved Haitian libation enjoyed during the holidays and on Haitian Independence Day.
Kremás is more than a festive drink. It is a symbol of unity, strength, and defiance—a tribute to the first Black republic, born from revolution, that overcame the might of a world superpower. It’s a toast to freedom, resilience, and the enduring power of community.
This company is my legacy to my three children. It’s not just a business—it’s a living story of triumph, culture, and ancestral pride. Through Kremás, we honor the past, uplift the present, and inspire a future where our traditions are celebrated worldwide.
